Q1: Is there an official paper template for TE2026?

A: The final full-paper template has been released and is now available in the Submission section of the website.

Q2: Is it necessary to submit a Word version of the abstract in the first round of submission?

A: The first round of submission is conducted as a double-blind review, so a Word version is not required.

Q3: Will the TE2026 conference proceedings be submitted to EI Compendex for indexing?

A: TE2026 proceedings will be published by IOS Press in OPEN ACCESS BOOK and fully indexed by Thomson Reuters/SCI, Scopus, Compendex/Ei, and others. Besides being published in the TE2026 proceedings, authors of distinguished papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their work to one of several international journals' special issues, including:

  1. Advanced Engineering Informatics

  2. World Patent Information

Q4: What is the policy on the use of AI-generated content in papers submitted to TE2026?

A: To maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and accountability, all authors must adhere to the following four key principles regarding the use of AI-assisted technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney) in their submissions:

1. No Authorship: AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) cannot be listed as authors. They do not have legal standing and cannot share the responsibilities or accountability associated with authorship.

2. Full Responsibility: The human authors assume full responsibility and liability for the entire content of the work. This includes the accuracy of facts, the validity of citations, and the absence of plagiarism, regardless of whether part of the text was generated or polished by AI.

3. Mandatory Disclosure: Transparency is required. Authors must explicitly disclose the use of any AI tools in the creation of their manuscript. This includes detailing which tools were used and for what specific purpose (e.g., language editing, brainstorming, code generation).

4. Restriction on AI-Generated Images: The use of AI-generated images is generally prohibited in figures and visual data, unless the nature of the AI-generated imagery is the central subject of the research itself.

Q5: How many accepted papers does my registration cover?

A: For student registration just one accepted paper;For standard registration one accepted paper and an additional fee for a second one if required.

Q6: Can I purchase a Single Day Pass for multiple days?

A: No, the Single Day Pass is strictly limited to attending the conference for one day only. If you plan to attend the event for more than one day, you are required to purchase a full conference registration.

Q7: Can I attend the Gala Dinner if I only purchase a Single Day Pass?

A: Yes! When registering for your Single Day Pass, you will have the option to add an extra Gala Dinner ticket to your order at the same time.

Required Declaration in Manuscript

Authors are requested to include this statement in the Acknowledgments or Methodology section of their manuscript. Such as:

Option A: For Language Editing Only 

Declaration of AI Usage: "The authors utilized [Name of Tool, e.g., ChatGPT-4] solely to improve the readability and grammatical accuracy of this manuscript. The authors have reviewed and revised the output to ensure it reflects their original work and take full responsibility for the content of the publication."

Option B: For Content or Code Assistance

Declaration of AI Usage: "During the preparation of this work, the authors used [Name of Tool] to assist with [specific task, e.g., generating Python code / summarizing literature]. After using this tool, the authors rigorously reviewed, verified, and edited the content. The authors accept full responsibility for the final content of the work."
