The Magic School of Green Technologies
World’s first subtropical green building education center

The Magic School of Green Technologies (MSGT), opened in 2011, is recognized as the world’s first subtropical green building education center and Taiwan’s first zero-carbon demonstration project. As one of NCKU’s flagship venues, the MSGT serves as a living laboratory for sustainable innovation, showcasing strategies such as buoyancy ventilation, rooftop gardens, rainwater recycling, efficient lighting, and renewable energy integration.

Covering an area of approximately 4,800 square meters, the facility includes a main auditorium, several meeting rooms, flexible classrooms, a VIP lounge, and exhibition spaces. These features make it an ideal venue for international conferences, academic symposia, and professional exhibitions. Beyond its functional role as a conference facility, the MSGT represents Taiwan’s commitment to sustainable architecture and smart technology, providing a symbolic and practical setting for global dialogue. Participants not only engage in academic exchange but also experience firsthand the potential of green design to shape a more sustainable future.
